Last few weeks of sudden turnout of events that took me by surprise followed by insecurity & mental turmoil provoked me or rather induced me to play havoc with my mind and thoughts which brought the worst & best out of me (My Pertinent Poems). I call this as induced or provoked creativity. I would also like to call it creativity out of necessity arising due to sudden and unavoidable circumstances

☆ O God Almighty

You gave me something that I hadn’t ever imagined or expected or dreamt

You gave me something that was a bolt from the blue, which caught me unawares

You made me experience the other side of life that is enriched with pinpricks

You also gave me something that no one had before given

You gave me peace and harmony in the winds of storm

You gave me solitude and tranquility amidst the gales of fury

Like a restless river that had been rushing wildly,

Pulled by the mighty currents for too long a time,

You made my waters still and calm

I found rest in your magnanimous & comfortable arms

☆ I And You

I might be the writer,

But you will always be the words.

I might be the lyricist,

But you will always be the song.

I might be the painter,

But you will always be the portrait.

I might be the ingenious scientist,

But you will always be the invention

I might be the doctor,

But you will always be the medicine

I might be the sufferer

But you will always be the balm

☆ Sweet Home

Home is where the heart is,

It's where we share our laughter,

And where we shed our tears !

Home is where the heart is,

It's where we find our solace,

And where we face our fears !

Home is where the heart is,

It's a place of warmth, energy and light,

And where we find our goals & purpose !

Home is where the heart is,

It's where we long to stay forever,

And where our souls take flight !

☆ The End

When I was One,
I had just begun.

When I was Two,
I was nearly new.

When I was Twenty,
I was hardly Me.

When I was Thirty,
I was totally different.

When I was Forty,
I was not much more.

When I was Fifty,
I was just alive.

But now I am Sixty,
I am as clever as clever.

So I think I'll be Sixty,
For ever and ever ........

☆ My Pain

My pain may end

or may not end

by May end

as it may extend

or prolong further

But May will end

definitely by May end

as it may not wait

for my pain to end

So what if time & tide

wait for none

But my patience

will wait patiently

for my pain to end !

☆ Be Like A Tree

Stay grounded

Connect with your roots

Turn over a new leaf

Bend before you break

Enjoy your unique natural beauty

Keep growing as much as possible

Keep expanding your horizons

Allow others to enjoy the fruits of your labor

Give shelter to others

☆ A Solitary Freedom

When nobody

wakes you up in the morning,

When nobody

waits for you at night,

And when you can do

whatever you want at your free will,

What do you call it,

Unlimited freedom or eternal loneliness ???

☆ Cumulative Result

If I do a job

in thirty minutes,

It is because

I spent ten long years,

learning how to do that

in thirty minutes only.

You owe me for the years,

and not for the minutes.

Please remember me

and recognize me duly,

for the years of struggle

and not for the minutes

of seemingly no struggle !

☆ Then & Now

Another year has passed,

And we are all a little older.

Last summer felt hotter,

Now winter seems much colder.

There was a time not long ago,

When life was quite a blast & adventurous.

Now I fully comprehend & understand,

About "Living in the Past".

I used to go to events, meetings & conferences

Now I go for field visits & workshops,

And attend online sessions at home.

I used to often travel by air,

To places near and far.

Now I get restless syndrome,

From driving & riding alone in the car.

That, my friend, how my life is presently

So enjoy each day and live it up

Beyond all expectations

Before you reach sixty !

☆ Wisdom

We may learn wisdom by four methods

First method is by reflection,

Which is noblest.

Second method is by discrimination,

Which is trickiest.

Third method is by imitation,

Which is easiest.

Fourth method is by real experience,

Which is the bitterest.

I have learnt wisdom,

By bitterest & hard way !

☆ Realization

Leaving your house

and returning back safely

is such an underrated blessing.

I realised this

when I returned home safely

after couple of close shaves with destiny

on the busy roads of Hyderabad !
