In fact the more you "show off", the more you reap the benefits and dividends from the materialistic world. If you are talented, you heed to show off or display your talent. If you are handsome or beautiful, you need to exhibit your body or physical strengths. If you are rich, you need to display your wealth in order to become stinking rich. If you are powerful, you need to boast about your power and display your arrogance in order to receive kickbacks. If you are intelligent, you need to exhibit your intellectual traits. If you are a successful entrepreneur, you need to advertise your skills and products for profiting further.

By & large, we are a perverted society. Men are cynical by nature. Women are at the "receiving" end all the time by virtue of naughty deeds but still prefer to remain passive and submissive. Men in India hever had it so good thanks to the patriarchal society which allows them to be pampered no end. They are at the center of attention & adulation in festivals like "Karwa chouth" where wives pray for their long life by observing day-long fasting, and Raksha bandhan where sisters tie a sacred thread (Rakhi) on their wrists and pray for their wellness & prosperity while seeking protection from them.

Husbands were hence referred to as "patidev" and wives were often referred to as "sati" Times have changed drastically. The clock is now ticking in anti-clockwise direction. We are now in a digital age where women are seen or known to worship their craft & work (job) rather than their husbands. They treat their husbands as they are treated by them - no more & no less. Everything is mutual based on 50-50 principles or terms. They want to be treated with dignity & respect either at home or in the workplace. There are instances where men are seen donning the role of women in discharging the domestic duties. Urban & elite women never had it so good. The reversal of roles seems seems to be doing more good than harm to the families concerned.

Temples, Mosques, Churches & Gurudwaras (Gurdwaras) are not merely holy & sacred places of religious worship. There also exists a manifestation of God or manifestation of Supernatural force or Supreme being in these holy places of sanctity. Hence it is but natural that when I pass by these religious places, I bow my head in deep reverence and seek blessings from the unseen force. The other day, I was passing by a Church (namely Holy Trinity church) and as is my custom & tradition, I bowed my head in deep & utter reverence to the Almighty before proceeding with my long journey by road.
